Hadith 4749
Chapter 5: The Statement of Allah the Exalted: "Verily! Those who brought forth the slander (against 'Aishah [May Allah be pleased with her] the wife of the Prophet pbuh) are a group among you." (V.24:11) - كتاب التفسير
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها – {وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَهُ} قَالَتْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَىٍّ ابْنُ سَلُولَ.
Narrated `Aisha:
And as for him among them who had the greater share..' (24.11) was `Abdullah bin Ubai bin Salul.
‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ তিনি বলেন, وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَهُ “যে এ অপবাদের বড় ভূমিকা নিয়েছিল” এর ব্যাখ্যায় বলেন, সে হল ‘আবদুল্লাহ্ ইব্নু উবাই ইবনু সালূল। [২৫৯৩] (আ.প্র. ৪৩৮৮, ই.ফা. ৪৩৯০)
