Chapter 17: What Has Been Related About The Prohibition Of Beding The Mouths Of Water-Skins - كتاب الأشربة عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، رِوَايَةً أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ اخْتِنَاثِ الأَسْقِيَةِ، ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، وَابْنِ، عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏

'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah narrated a report (of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from Abu Sa'eed, that he prohibited bending the mouths of the water-skins. He said:

There are narrations on this topic from Jabir, Ibn 'Abbas, and Abu Hurairah. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
