Chapter 16: What Has Been Related About It Being Disliked To Take Two Dates At Once -

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited taking two dates at a time until seeking permission from one's companion." He said: There is something on this topic from Sa'd the freed slave of Abu Bakr. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
