Hadith 4921
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَقْطَعُ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا .
It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah" (one of the narrators) Qutaibah said:
'Used to cut off the hand of the thief for one-quarter of a Dinar or more."
