It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Buraidah that his father said:
"A man came to the Prophet and asked him about the times of the prayer. He said: 'Pray with us for two days.' When the sun passed its zenith he commanded Bilal to call the Adhan, then he commanded him to give the Iqamah for Zuhr; then he commanded him to give the Iqamah for 'Asr when the sun was high and clearly white. Then he commanded him to give the Iqamah for Maghrib when the sun had set; then he commanded him to give the Iqamah for 'Isha' when the red afterglow had disappeared; then he commanded him to give the Iqamah for Fajr when dawn came. On the following day he commanded him to give the Adhan for Zuhr when the extreme heat had passed and it had cooled down; then he prayed 'Asr when the sun was still high, but he delayed it more than he had done the day before; then he prayed Maghrib before the red afterglow disappeared; he prayed 'Isha' when one-third of the night had passed; and he prayed Fajr at the time when it was already light. Then he said: 'Where is the one who was asking about the times of Prayer?' The man said: 'Here I am, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'The times of your prayer are between the times you have seen.'"
بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
ایک آدمی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا ، اور اس نے آپ سے نماز کے اوقات کے متعلق سوال کیا ، تو آپ نے فرمایا : ” آنے والے دو دن ہمارے ساتھ نماز پڑھو ، چنانچہ ( پہلے دن ) جب سورج ڈھل گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا ، انہوں نے اذان دی ، پھر ان کو حکم دیا تو انہوں نے ظہر کی اقامت کہی ۱؎ ، پھر ان کو حکم دیا ، انہوں نے نماز عصر کی اقامت کہی ، اس وقت سورج بلند ، صاف اور چمکدار تھا ۲؎ ، پھر جب سورج ڈوب گیا تو ان کو حکم دیا تو انہوں نے مغرب کی اقامت کہی ، پھر جب شفق ۳؎ غائب ہو گئی تو انہیں حکم دیا ، انہوں نے عشاء کی اقامت کہی ، پھر جب صبح صادق طلوع ہوئی تو انہیں حکم دیا ، تو انہوں نے فجر کی اقامت کہی ، جب دوسرا دن ہوا تو آپ نے ان کو حکم دیا ، تو انہوں نے ظہر کی اذان دی ، اور ٹھنڈا کیا اس کو اور خوب ٹھنڈا کیا ( یعنی تاخیر کی ) ، پھر عصر کی نماز اس وقت پڑھائی جب کہ سورج بلند تھا ، پہلے روز کے مقابلے میں دیر کی ، پھر مغرب کی نماز شفق کے غائب ہونے سے پہلے پڑھائی ، اور عشاء کی نماز تہائی رات گزر جانے کے بعد پڑھائی اور فجر کی نماز اجالے میں پڑھائی ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” نماز کے اوقات کے بارے میں سوال کرنے والا کہاں ہے ؟ “ ، اس آدمی نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول ! میں حاضر ہوں ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” تمہاری نماز کا وقت ان اوقات کے درمیان ہے جو تم نے دیکھا “ ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَاعِدًا عَلَى مَيَاثِرِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فِي إِمَارَتِهِ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَعَهُ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ فَأَخَّرَ عُمَرُ الْعَصْرَ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ أَمَا إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى إِمَامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ . فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ اعْلَمْ مَا تَقُولُ يَا عُرْوَةُ . قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بَشِيرَ بْنَ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ
" نَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَّنِي فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتَ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ " . يَحْسُبُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ .
It was narrated from Ibn Shihab that:
He was sitting on the cushions of 'Umar bin 'Abdul-'Aziz when he was the leader over Al-Madinah, and with him was 'Urwah bin Zubair. "umar delayed 'Asr somewhat, and 'Urwah said to him: "Jibril came down and led the Messenger of Allah in prayer." 'Umar said to him: "Know what you are saying, O 'Urwah!" he said: "I heard Bashir bin Abu Mas'ud saying, 'I heard Abu Mas'ud saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah saying, 'Jibril came down and led me in prayer, and I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him,' and he counted five prayers on his fingers."
ابن شہاب زہری کہتے ہیں کہ
وہ عمر بن عبدالعزیز کے گدوں پہ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے ، اس وقت عمر بن عبدالعزیز مدینہ منورہ کے امیر تھے ، اور ان کے ساتھ عروہ بن زبیر بھی تھے ، عمر بن عبدالعزیز نے عصر کی نماز میں کچھ دیر کر دی تو ان سے عروہ نے کہا : سنیے ! جبرائیل علیہ السلام آئے اور انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی امامت فرمائی ، تو ان سے عمر بن عبدالعزیز نے کہا : عروہ ! جو کچھ کہہ رہے ہو سوچ سمجھ کر کہو ؟ اس پر عروہ نے کہا کہ میں نے بشیر بن ابی مسعود کو کہتے سنا کہ میں نے اپنے والد ابی مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا : جبرائیل علیہ السلام تشریف لائے ، اور انہوں نے میری امامت کی تو میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ۔ ۔ ۔ وہ اپنی انگلیوں سے پانچوں نمازوں کو شمار کر رہے تھے ۔
It was narrated from Ibn Shihab that:

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنَّ نِسَاءُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يُصَلِّينَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ صَلاَةَ الصُّبْحِ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعْنَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِنَّ فَلاَ يَعْرِفُهُنَّ أَحَدٌ . تَعْنِي مِنَ الْغَلَسِ .
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:
"The believing women used to perform the Subh prayer with the Prophet, then they would go back to their families and no one would recognize them," meaning of the darkness.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ
مسلمان عورتیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ صبح کی نماز پڑھتیں ، پھر اپنے گھروں کو واپس لوٹتیں ، لیکن انہیں کوئی پہچان نہیں سکتا تھا ، یعنی رات کے آخری حصہ کی تاریکی کے سبب ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:
"The believing women used to perform the Subh prayer with the Prophet, then they would go back to their families and no one would recognize them," meaning of the darkness.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْبَاطِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَالأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ {وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا} قَالَ " تَشْهَدُهُ مَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ " .
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah recited: And recite the Qur'an during the Fajr. Verily, the recitation of the Qur'an during Fajr is ever witnessed." He said: "It is witnessed by the angels of the night and the day."
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس آیت کریمہ : «وقرآن الفجر إن قرآن الفجر كان مشهودا» ( سورة الإسراء : 78 ) کی تفسیر میں فرمایا : ” اس میں رات اور دن کے فرشتے حاضر رہتے ہیں “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah recited: And recite the Qur'an during the Fajr. Verily, the recitation of the Qur'an during Fajr is ever witnessed." He said: "It is witnessed by the angels of the night and the day."
"I prayed the Subh with 'Abdullah bin Zubair in the darkness, and when he said the Taslim, I turned to Ibn 'Umar and said: 'What is this prayer?' He said: 'This is how we prayed with the Messenger of Allah and with Abu Bakr and 'Umar. When 'Umar was stabbed, 'Uthman delayed it until there was light.'"
مغیث بن سمی کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ صبح کی نماز «غلس» ( آخر رات کی تاریکی ) میں پڑھی ، جب انہوں نے سلام پھیرا تو میں عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی طرف متوجہ ہوا ، اور ان سے کہا : یہ کیسی نماز ہے ؟ انہوں نے کہا : یہ وہ نماز ہے جو ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، اور ابوبکرو عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ پڑھتے تھے ، لیکن جب عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کو نیزہ مار کر زخمی کر دیا گیا تو عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے «اسفار» ( اجالے ) میں پڑھنا شروع کر دیا ۱؎ ۔
Mughith bin Sumayi said:
"I prayed the Subh with 'Abdullah bin Zubair in the darkness, and when he said the Taslim, I turned to Ibn 'Umar and said: 'What is this prayer?' He said: 'This is how we prayed with the Messenger of Allah and with Abu Bakr and 'Umar. When 'Umar was stabbed, 'Uthman delayed it until there was light.'"
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ خَبَّابٍ، قَالَ شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ حَرَّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا .
قَالَ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، نَحْوَهُ .
It was narrated that Khabbab said:
"We complained to the Messenger of Allah about the heat of the sunbaked ground, but he did not respond to our complaint." (Sahih)Another chain with similar wording.
ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ریت کی گرمی ( زمین کی تپش ) کی شکایت کی ، تو آپ نے ہماری شکایت کو نظر انداز کر دیا ۱؎ ۔ اسی جیسی حدیث مروی ہے
It was narrated that Khabbab said:
"We complained to the Messenger of Allah about the heat of the sunbaked ground, but he did not respond to our complaint." (Sahih)Another chain with similar wording.
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When it is very hot, then wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire.'"
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” جب گرمی سخت ہو جائے تو نماز ٹھنڈی کر لو ، اس لیے کہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی لپٹ سے ہے “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When it is very hot, then wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire.'"

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "When it is very hot, then wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire."

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” جب گرمی سخت ہو جائے تو ظہر کو ٹھنڈا کر لیا کرو ، اس لیے کہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی لپٹ سے ہے “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "When it is very hot, then wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire."
حَدَّثَنَا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ صَلاَةَ الظُّهْرِ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ فَقَالَ لَنَا
" أَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .
It was narrated that Mughirah bin Shu'bah said:
We were praying Zuhr with the Messenger of Allah at the time of intense heat (i.e., midday when the sun has just passed its zenith) and he said to us, "Wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire."
مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ظہر کی نماز دوپہر میں پڑھتے تھے ، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم سے فرمایا : ” نماز ٹھنڈی کر کے پڑھو ، اس لیے کہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی لپٹ سے ہے “ ۔
It was narrated that Mughirah bin Shu'bah said:
We were praying Zuhr with the Messenger of Allah at the time of intense heat (i.e., midday when the sun has just passed its zenith) and he said to us, "Wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ حَيَّةٌ فَيَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى الْعَوَالِي وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ .
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that:
The Messenger of Allah used to pray 'Asr when the sun was still hot and high, and if a person were to go to the suburbs (of Al-Madinah) he would be able to reach it while the sun was still hot and high.
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عصر اس وقت پڑھا کرتے تھے جب سورج اونچا اور زندہ ہوتا تھا ، چنانچہ ( نماز پڑھ کر ) کوئی شخص عوالی ۱؎ میں جاتا تو سورج بلند ہی ہوتا تھا ۔
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that:
The Messenger of Allah used to pray 'Asr when the sun was still hot and high, and if a person were to go to the suburbs (of Al-Madinah) he would be able to reach it while the sun was still hot and high.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ
" مَلأَ اللَّهُ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا كَمَا شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى " .
It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abu Talib that,:
On the Day of Khandaq, the Messenger of Allah said: "May Allah fill their houses and graves with fire, just as they distracted us from the middle prayer."
علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ خندق کے دن فرمایا : ” اللہ ان کافروں کے گھروں اور قبروں کو آگ سے بھر دے ، جیسے کہ ان لوگوں نے ہمیں نماز وسطیٰ ( عصر کی نماز ) کی ادائیگی سے باز رکھا “ ۔
It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abu Talib that,:
On the Day of Khandaq, the Messenger of Allah said: "May Allah fill their houses and graves with fire, just as they distracted us from the middle prayer."
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَبَسَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ
" حَبَسُونَا عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى مَلأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا " .
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
"The idolaters kept the Prophet from the 'Asr prayer until the sun had set. He said: 'They kept us from performing the middle prayer; may Allah fill their graves and their houses with fire.'"
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
مشرکوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو عصر کی نماز سے روکے رکھا یہاں تک کہ سورج ڈوب گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” ان لوگوں نے ہمیں عصر کی نماز سے روکے رکھا ، اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے گھروں اور قبروں کو آگ سے بھر دے “ ۔
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
"The idolaters kept the Prophet from the 'Asr prayer until the sun had set. He said: 'They kept us from performing the middle prayer; may Allah fill their graves and their houses with fire.'"
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّجَاشِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ، يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَيَنْصَرِفُ أَحَدُنَا وَإِنَّهُ لَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوَاقِعِ نَبْلِهِ .
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَحْوَهُ .
Abu Najashi said:
"I heard Rafi' bin Khadij say: 'We used to perform the Maghrib at the time of the Messenger of Allah, and one of us would be able to see the places where his arrows would land when shot from his bow.'" (Sahih)Another chain with similar wording.
ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں مغرب کی نماز پڑھتے ، پھر ہم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز پڑھ کر واپس ہوتا ، اور وہ اپنے تیر گرنے کے مقام کو دیکھ لیتا ۱؎ ۔اسی جیسی حدیث مروی ہے ۔

It was narrated that 'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'My Ummah will continue to adhere to the Fitrah so long as they do not delay the Maghrib until the stars have come out." (Hasan)Abu 'Abdullah bin Majah said: I heard Muhammed bin Yahya saying: 'The people in Baghdad were confused in narrating this Hadith. Abu Bakr Al-A'yan and I went to 'Awwam bin 'Abbad bin 'Awwam and he brought out to us the book of his father, and this Hadith was in it.'"
عباس بن عبدالمطلب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” میری امت ہمیشہ فطرت ( دین اسلام ) پر رہے گی ، جب تک وہ مغرب کی نماز میں اتنی تاخیر نہ کرے گی کہ تارے گھنے ہو جائیں “ ۔ ابوعبداللہ ابن ماجہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے محمد بن یحییٰ کو کہتے سنا : اس حدیث کے بارے میں اہل بغداد نے اختلاف کیا ، چنانچہ میں اور ابوبکر الاعین عوام بن عباد بن عوام کے پاس گئے ، تو انہوں نے اپنے والد کا اصل نسخہ نکالا تو اس میں یہ حدیث موجود تھی ۔
It was narrated that 'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'My Ummah will continue to adhere to the Fitrah so long as they do not delay the Maghrib until the stars have come out." (Hasan)Abu 'Abdullah bin Majah said: I heard Muhammed bin Yahya saying: 'The people in Baghdad were confused in narrating this Hadith. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "Were it not that it would be too difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to delay the 'Isha'."
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” اگر اس بات کا ڈر نہ ہوتا کہ میں اپنی امت کو مشقت میں ڈال دوں گا ، تو میں انہیں عشاء کی نماز میں دیر کرنے کا حکم دیتا “ ۔
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "Were it not that it would be too difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to delay the 'Isha'."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لأَخَّرْتُ صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ " .
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Were it not that it would be too difficult for my Ummah, I would have delayed the 'Isha' prayer until one third or one half of the night had passed.'"
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” اگر اس بات کا ڈر نہ ہوتا کہ میں اپنی امت کو مشقت میں ڈال دوں گا ، تو میں عشاء کی نماز تہائی یا آدھی رات تک مؤخر کرتا “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Were it not that it would be too difficult for my Ummah, I would have delayed the 'Isha' prayer until one third or one half of the night had passed.'"
"Anas bin Malik was asked: 'Did the Prophet wear a ring?' He said: 'Yes.' One night he delayed the 'Isha' prayer until almost the middle of the night. When he had prayed, he turned to face us and said: 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you will still be in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the (next) prayer.'" (Sahih)Anas said: "It was as if I can see the sparkle from his ring.'"
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا گیا : کیا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انگوٹھی بنوائی تھی ؟ انہوں نے کہا : جی ہاں ، ایک رات آپ نے عشاء کی نماز آدھی رات کے قریب مؤخر کی ، جب آپ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو ہماری جانب متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا : ” اور لوگ نماز پڑھ کر سو گئے ، اور تم لوگ برابر نماز ہی میں رہے جب تک نماز کا انتظار کرتے رہے “ ، انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں : گویا میں آپ کی انگوٹھی کی چمک دیکھ رہا ہوں ۔اوپر والی حدیث کے مثل مروی ہے ۔
Humaid said:
"Anas bin Malik was asked: 'Did the Prophet wear a ring?' He said: 'Yes.' One night he delayed the 'Isha' prayer until almost the middle of the night. When he had prayed, he turned to face us and said: 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you will still be in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the (next) prayer.'" (Sahih)Anas said: "It was as if I can see the sparkle from his ring.'"
"The Messenger of Allah led us for the Maghrib prayer. Then he did not come out until half the night had passed. ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں مغرب کی نماز پڑھائی ، پھر آدھی رات تک ( حجرہ سے ) باہر نہ آئے ، پھر نکلے اور لوگوں کو عشاء کی نماز پڑھائی اور فرمایا : ” اور لوگ نماز پڑھ کر سو گئے ، اور تم برابر نماز ہی میں رہے جب تک نماز کا انتظار کرتے رہے ، اگر مجھے کمزوروں اور بیماروں کا خیال نہ ہوتا تو میں اس نماز کو آدھی رات تک مؤخر کرنا پسند کرتا “ ۔
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said:
"The Messenger of Allah led us for the Maghrib prayer. Then he did not come out until half the night had passed. Then he came out and led them in prayer, then he said: "The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you are still in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the (next) prayer. Were it not for the weak and the sick, I wanted to delay this prayer until the middle of the night.'"

" بَكِّرُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الْغَيْمِ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ " .
It was narrated that Buraidah Al-Aslami said:

بریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک غزوہ میں تھے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” بادل کے ایام میں نماز جلدی پڑھ لیا کرو ، کیونکہ جس کی نماز عصر فوت ہو گئی ، اس کا عمل برباد ہو گیا “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated that Buraidah Al-Aslami said:
"We were with the Messenger of Allah on a campaign, and he said: 'Hasten to perform prayer on a cloudy day, for whoever misses the 'Asr prayer, all his good deeds will be in vain.'"
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَغْفُلُ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ أَوْ يَرْقُدُ عَنْهَا قَالَ
" يُصَلِّيهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " .
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:
'The Prophet was asked about a man who forgets prayer or sleeps and misses it. He said: 'he performs it when he remembers it.'"
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس شخص کے متعلق سوال کیا گیا جو نماز سے غافل ہو جائے ، یا سو جائے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” جب یاد آ جائے تو پڑھ لے “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:

حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ حِينَ قَفَلَ مِنْ غَزْوَةِ خَيْبَرَ فَسَارَ لَيْلَةً حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْكَرَى عَرَّسَ وَقَالَ لِبِلاَلٍ " اكْلأْ لَنَا اللَّيْلَ " . فَصَلَّى بِلاَلٌ مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ وَنَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَأَصْحَابُهُ فَلَمَّا تَقَارَبَ الْفَجْرُ اسْتَنَدَ بِلاَلٌ إِلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ مُوَاجِهَ الْفَجْرِ فَغَلَبَتْ بِلاَلاً عَيْنَاهُ وَهُوَ مُسْتَنِدٌ إِلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظْ بِلاَلٌ وَلاَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ حَتَّى ضَرَبَتْهُمُ الشَّمْسُ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَوَّلَهُمُ اسْتِيقَاظًا فَفَزِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ " أَىْ بِلاَلُ " . فَقَالَ بِلاَلٌ أَخَذَ بِنَفْسِي الَّذِي أَخَذَ بِنَفْسِكَ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " اقْتَادُوا " . فَاقْتَادُوا رَوَاحِلَهُمْ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَأَمَرَ بِلاَلاً فَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ الصُّبْحَ فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الصَّلاَةَ . قَالَ " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلاَةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ {وَأَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ لِذِكْرِي} " . قَالَ وَكَانَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ يَقْرَؤُهَا {لِلذِّكْرَى} .
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :
When the Messenger of Allah was coming back from the battle of Khaibar, night came and he felt sleepy, so he made camp and said to Bilal: "Keep watch for us tonight." Bilal prayed as much as Allah decreed for him, and the Messenger of Allah and his Companions went to sleep. When dawn was approaching, Bilal went to his mount, facing towards the east, watching for the dawn. Then Bilal's eyes grew heavy while he was leaning on his mount (and he slept). Neither Bilal nor any of his Companions woke until they felt the heat of the sun. The Messenger of Allah was the first one to wake up. The Messenger of Allah was startled and said: "O Bilal!" Bilal said: "The same thing happened to me as happened to you. May my father and mother be ransomed for you, O Messenger of Allah!" He said: "Bring your mounts forward a little." So they brought their mounts forward a little (away from that place). Then the Messenger of Allah performed ablution and told Bilal to call the Iqamah for prayer, and he led them in the prayer. When the Prophet finished praying, he said: "Whoever forgets a Salah, let him pray it when he remembers, for Allah says: And perform the prayer for My remembrance." [Ta-Ha: 14] He (one of the narrators) said: "Ibn Shihab used to recite this Verse as meaning, 'when you remember'."
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب غزوہ خیبر سے واپس لوٹے تو رات میں چلتے رہے ، یہاں تک کہ جب نیند آنے لگی تو رات کے آخری حصہ میں آرام کے لیے اتر گئے ، اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا : ” آج رات ہماری نگرانی کرو “ ، چنانچہ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو جتنی توفیق ہوئی اتنی دیر نماز پڑھتے رہے ، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم سوتے رہے ، جب فجر کا وقت قریب ہوا تو بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے مشرق کی جانب منہ کر کے اپنی سواری پر ٹیک لگا لی ، اسی ٹیک لگانے کی حالت میں ان کی آنکھ لگ گئی ، نہ تو وہ جاگے اور نہ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم میں سے اور کوئی ، یہاں تک کہ انہیں دھوپ لگی تو سب سے پہلے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیدار ہوئے ، اور گھبرا کر فرمایا : ” بلال ! “ ، بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان ہوں ، جس نے آپ کی جان کو روکے رکھا اسی نے میری جان کو روک لیا ۱؎ ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” آگے چلو “ ، صحابہ کرام اپنی سواریوں کو لے کر کچھ آگے بڑھے ، پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا ، اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا تو انہوں نے نماز کے لیے اقامت کہی ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صبح کی نماز پڑھائی ، جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پوری کر لی تو فرمایا : ” جو شخص کوئی نماز بھول جائے تو جب یاد آئے پڑھ لے ، اس لیے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : «أقم الصلاة لذكري» نماز اس وقت قائم کرو جب یاد آ جائے “ ( سورة : طه : ۱۴ ) ۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ ابن شہاب اس کو «لذكري» کے بجائے «للذكرى» پڑھتے تھے ۲؎ ۔

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ ذَكَرُوا تَفْرِيطَهُمْ فِي النَّوْمِ فَقَالَ نَامُوا حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" لَيْسَ فِي النَّوْمِ تَفْرِيطٌ إِنَّمَا التَّفْرِيطُ فِي الْيَقَظَةِ فَإِذَا نَسِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَلاَةً أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا وَلِوَقْتِهَا مِنَ الْغَدِ " .
قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ فَسَمِعَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ، وَأَنَا أُحَدِّثُ، بِالْحَدِيثِ فَقَالَ يَا فَتًى انْظُرْ كَيْفَ تُحَدِّثُ فَإِنِّي شَاهِدٌ لِلْحَدِيثِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ . قَالَ فَمَا أَنْكَرَ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ شَيْئًا .
'Abdullah bin Rabah narrated that Abu Qatadah said:
"They mentioned negligence because of sleeping too much, and he said: 'They slept until the sun had risen. The Messenger of Allah said: "There is no negligence when oneis sleeping, rather there is negligence when one is awake. If anyone of you forgets to pray, or sleeps and misses a prayer, then let him pray when he remembers, and during its time if it is a day after. (Sahih)'Abdullah bin Rabah said: "Imran bin Husain heard me when I was narrating this Hadith and said: 'O young man, look at how you are narrating the Hadith. I was present at the time of this Hadith with the Messenger of Allah.' And he did not deny anything of the Hadith."
ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
لوگوں نے نیند کی وجہ سے اپنی کوتاہی کا ذکر چھیڑا تو انہوں نے کہا : لوگ سو گئے یہاں تک کہ سورج طلوع ہو گیا ، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” نیند میں کوتاہی نہیں ہے ، کوتاہی بیداری کی حالت میں ہے ، لہٰذا جب کوئی شخص نماز بھول جائے یا اس سے سو جائے تو جب یاد آئے پڑھ لے ، اور اگلے روز اس کے وقت میں پڑھ لے “ ۱؎ ۔ عبداللہ بن رباح کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے یہ حدیث بیان کرتے ہوئے عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما نے سنا تو کہا : نوجوان ! ذرا غور کرو ، تم کیسے حدیث بیان کر رہے ہو ؟ اس حدیث کے وقت میں خود رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ موجود تھا ، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس میں سے کسی بھی بات کا انکار نہیں کیا ۔
'Abdullah bin Rabah narrated that Abu Qatadah said:
"They mentioned negligence because of sleeping too much, and he said: 'They slept until the sun had risen. The Messenger of Allah said: "There is no negligence when oneis sleeping, rather there is negligence when one is awake. If anyone of you forgets to pray, or sleeps and misses a prayer, then let him pray when he remembers, and during its time if it is a day after. (Sahih)'Abdullah bin Rabah said: "Imran bin Husain heard me when I was narrating this Hadith and said: 'O young man, look at how you are narrating the Hadith. I was present at the time of this Hadith with the Messenger of Allah.' And he did not deny anything of the Hadith."
The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever catches one Rak'ah of the 'Asr before the sun sets, then he has caught it, and whoever catches one Rak'ah of the Subh before the sun rises, then he has caught it."
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” جس شخص نے سورج کے ڈوبنے سے پہلے عصر کی ایک رکعت پا لی ، اس نے عصر کی نماز پا لی ، اور جس نے سورج نکلنے سے پہلے فجر کی ایک رکعت پالی تو اس نے فجر کی نماز پا لی “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever catches one Rak'ah of the 'Asr before the sun sets, then he has caught it, and whoever catches one Rak'ah of the Subh before the sun rises, then he has caught it."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمِصْرِيَّانِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
" مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا " .
حَدَّثَنَا جَمِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
It was narrated from 'Aishah that:
The Messeenger of Allah said: "Whoever catches one Rak'ah of the Subh before the sun rises, then he has caught it, and whoever catches one Rak'ah of the 'Asr before the sun sets, then he has caught it." (Sahih)Another chain with similar wording.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” جس شخص نے سورج نکلنے سے پہلے فجر کی ایک رکعت پا لی اس نے فجر کی نماز پا لی ، اور جس نے سورج ڈوبنے سے پہلے عصر کی ایک رکعت پا لی ، اس نے عصر کی نماز پا لی “ ۔
It was narrated from 'Aishah that:

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ
" لاَ تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلاَتِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا الْعِشَاءُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيُعْتِمُونَ بِالإِبِلِ " .
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Do not let the Bedouin make you change the name of your prayer. It is the 'Isha', and they bring their camels in and milk them at nightfall.'"
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : ” اعراب ( دیہاتی لوگ ) تمہاری نماز کے نام میں تم پر غالب نہ آ جائیں ، اس لیے کہ ( کتاب اللہ میں ) اس کا نام عشاء ہے ، اور یہ لوگ اس وقت اونٹنیوں کے دوہنے کی وجہ سے اسے «عتمہ» کہتے ہیں “ ۱؎ ۔
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Do not let the Bedouin make you change the name of your prayer. It is the 'Isha', and they bring their camels in and milk them at nightfall.'"
The Prophet said: "Do not let the Bedouins make you change the name of your prayer." Ibn Harmalah added: "Rather it is the 'Isha', but they say the 'Atamah because they bring their camels in for milking at that time (when it is dark)."

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” اعراب ( بدوی ) تمہاری نماز کے نام کے سلسلے میں تم پر غالب نہ آ جائیں “ ، ابن حرملہ نے یہ اضافہ کیا ہے : اس کا نام «عشاء» ہے ، اور یہ اعرابی اسے اس وقت اپنی اونٹنیوں کے دوہنے کی وجہ سے «عتمه» کہتے ہیں “ ۔
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Prophet said: "Do not let the Bedouins make you change the name of your prayer." Ibn Harmalah added: "Rather it is the 'Isha', but they say the 'Atamah because they bring their camels in for milking at that time (when it is dark)."
