Hadith 7
Chapter 1: Musnad Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (ra) - مُسْنَدُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ السِّوَاكُ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ مَرْضَاةٌ لِلرَّبِّ.
It was narrated from Abu Bakr that the prophet (ﷺ) said:
`The siwak is cleansing to the mouth and pleasing to the Lord`
