Hadith 119
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَبَإٍ، عُتْبَةَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُغِيثٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ صَاحِبَ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا.
It was narrated from `Urwah bin Mugheeth al-Ansari, that 'Umar bin al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said:
The Prophet ﷺ ruled that the owner of a mount is more entitled to ride on the front part of it.
